My name is Katerina and I work as a Freelance Animator and
Web designer based in Essex. I come from the Czech Republic
but I have been living in Great Britain for last 9 years.
I graduated from the Animation course at the Dundee
University (Scotland) in 2009. My animation career started
with a year of collaboration of The Happy Duckling. This
animation won BAFTA award for year 2009. I also
worked as coloring artist for Ink Digital animation studio
during production of feature film called The Illusionist that
has been nominated for Oscars.
My first step to success is my animation for Czech singer
Lucie Bila .This music clip had a premiere 17. March 2009
and was screened on Czech TV.
My art work is based on strong drawing style.
I use various 2D and 3D techniques to create my artwork.
I find inspiration in nature, animals and folklore.
I also collaborate during children art workshops in local
gallery and always searching for new opportunities for
more art work.
